This band is at once wistful and fresh, upbeat, believing yet longing. You could listen to this band at night with your eyes closed, your headphones on, or dance to it volume pumped reeling to this sound until you collapse. They have that subtle complexity, oneso rare today, that brings duality to this music. Bodega is energetic yet soothing and easy to relate to. Front man Nestor Cora is the producer, lead singer, lyricist, and guitarist. he lived in Puerto Rico and played on the Puerto Rican basketball team winning a silver medal at the Pan American games. He brings complex lyricism and color to Bodega. His songs tell of his experiences traveling throughout South America, Cuba, Europe, and the Soviet Union. His songs speak of struggle, a personal quest, and above all hope.
