On a one way stand-by flight to New York City former flight attendant Meera Sandlin decided to stay. Waiting tables wasn't exactly what she had in mind but it was a start. Producer/writer Nestor Cora and Meera Sandlin met in the Chelsea section of Manhattan. "I have some lyrics and some ideas," she replied and it was a perfect romance... musically that is.

Meera's lyrics are the core of what will capture you on her self-titled EP. She challenges and searches for answers of her own addictions as well as her existence. Meera has a vocal tonality reminiscent of many great singers that you can identify with. "Affected" is the strongest track, an anthem for the self destructive that also gives hope for those trying to understand their own fears. Meera Sandlin is a must listen to!
